HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US specialty chemicals producer Chemtura named Craig Rogerson president, CEO and chairman, the company said on Monday.
Rogerson's appointment is effective immediately. Before joining Chemtura, Rogerson was president and CEO of Hercules, which was acquired by Ashland in November.
At Chemtura, Rogerson replaces Robert Wood, who is resigning for personal reasons, the company said.
Wood had been the head of Chemtura since it was formed in 2005 with the merger of Crompton and Great Lakes Chemical. Before Chemtura, Wood was CEO of Crompton since 2004.
