Japan's Mitsubishi plans MIBK turnaround in Jun’09

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical plans to shut its 20,000 tonne/year methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) plant in Mizushima, Okayama prefecture, for a turnaround in June 2009, a company official said on Monday.

The shutdown is expected to last one month but the exact date is yet to be finalised, he added.
