HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Chemical major LyondellBasell filed for bankruptcy protection on Tuesday, according to court documents.
The filing covers only the company's assets in the US. Under bankruptcy protection, a company reorganises its finances while being protected from creditor lawsuits.
