SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Indonesia’s Pertamina has planned a 45-day turnaround in July for its 270,000 tonne/year paraxylene (PX) unit at Cilacap, a company source said on Monday.

“We’ll take the unit offline in the beginning of July and there will also be a catalyst change during this shutdown,” said the source, adding that the line is currently running at full capacity.

The company had previously reduced operations at its aromatics facilities due to weak demand from end-users and poor market conditions.
