HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US exports of ethyl acetate (etac) blasted off in November from the same month in 2007, up 178% at 5,361 tonnes, according to data the US International Trade Commission (ITC) released on Tuesday.
November etac exports also rose 18% from 4,541 tonnes in October, the ITC said.
US etac exports increased 34% in the first 11 months of the year through November, totalling 61,243 tonnes, up from 45,671 tonnes in the same period of 2007.

US Gulf coast export prices have ranged from 58-69 cents/lb ($1,279-1,521/tonne, €959-1,141/tonne) during the past month, according to global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.
