HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Valero is shutting down the heavy oil cracker and alkylation unit at its west Corpus Christi refinery in Texas for a planned turnaround, the US refiner said on Thursday.
The turnaround should last approximately 30 days, said spokesman Bill Day.
Capacity on the heavy oil cracker is 92,000 bbl/day. It is 12,000 bbl/day for the alkylation unit, according to Day.
