LONDON (ICIS news)--INEOS Polyolefins’ 140,000 tonne/year low density polyethylene (LDPE) plant in Bamble, Norway, will be down for at least a week due to an earlier fire at an associated facility, a company source said on Friday.
The Bamble plant was brought to a halt after a fire on Wednesday at its associated cracker at Rafnes, which prevented that unit to restart following scheduled maintenance work.
PP prices were rolling over in January, with homopolymer injection trading at €750/tonne ($987/tonne) FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest ?xml:namespace>
