HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Flint Hills Resources (FHR) will lay off 169 workers from its Odessa plant in Texas in the next two months, the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) said on Monday.
The layoffs come on top of 27 terminations that took place in January, according to notices sent by FHR to the state agency.
FHR is expected to permanently decommission its operations in Odessa by end-June.
The company said a total of 454 employees would lose their jobs as a result of the shutdown.
FHR did not respond to a request for comment.
