Alberta premier says no help for NOVA - report

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach said his government will not give financial assistance to NOVA Chemicals, according to Reuters on Thursday.

The news service reported that Stelmach said “No” when asked by reporters if the government might help with funding.

On Wednesday, Moody's Investors Service lowered its ratings for NOVA as a deadline approaches for the Canadian producer to raise $100m (€78m).
