SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korea’s Hanwha Chemical will partially shut its 550,000 tonnes/year caustic soda plant in Yeosu for a 5-day scheduled turnaround at the end of this month, a source close to the company said on Thursday.
The plant consists of two production lines, one of which will be shut during the turnaround, the source said. It was unclear how much production would be lost as a result.
The company runs another 240,000 tonnes/year caustic soda plant in ?xml:namespace>
