TORONTO (ICIS news)--Celanese is realigning its management team following the resignation of John Gallagher, president of acetyl intermediates, the US chemicals major said on Wednesday.
Doug Madden had been named corporate executive vice president and would assume executive responsibility for the acetyl intermediates segment, in addition to his responsibility for the company’s industrial specialties segment, Celanese said.
Sandy Beach Lin had been named corporate executive vice president and would assume executive responsibility for Celanese’s consumer specialties segment, in addition to her current executive role in the advanced engineered materials segment, the company said.
Gallagher was leaving Celanese by the end of March to pursue other opportunities, the company added.
