HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US polyvinyl chloride (PVC) contracts for February settled up 3 cents/lb, buyers and sellers said on Thursday.

The increase brings the price for pipe-grade resin up to 54-56 cents/lb ($1,190-1,235/tonne or €940-975/tonne).

Sources said the initial 5 cent/lb February price hike nominated by producers was split across February and March, with the remaining 2 cent/lb increase to be implemented for March contracts.
