Ningbo Mitsubishi to restart China PTA plant on 12 March

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Ningbo Mitsubishi Chem will restart its 600,000 tonnes/year purified terephthalic acid plant in eastern China on Thursday after a two-week maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.

“We are now in preparation works. By tomorrow we would run the plant fully again,” he said.

Ningbo Mitsubishi Chem is based at Ningbo city in Zhejiang province.

The company is a joint venture between a Japanese consortium led by Mitsubishi Chemical and China International Trust & Investment.
