Rhodia to shut South Korea adipic acid unit for maintenance

LONDON (ICIS news)--Rhodia Polyamide plans to stop production at its 140,000 tonne/year adipic acid unit in Onsan, South Korea, for two weeks in March for maintenance work, a company source said on Tuesday.

“We are planning to stop adipic acid production in South Korea for maintenance for roughly two weeks in March 2009,” the company source confirmed.

The source declined to disclose exact dates of the shutdown or specific details on the maintenance work.
