NOVA shareholders will vote next month on IPIC bid

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Shareholders of Canadian producer NOVA Chemicals will meet next month to vote on a bid to acquire the company by Abu Dhabi’s International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC), NOVA said on Tuesday.

The meeting will be held on 14 April.

The completion of the transaction is subject to several conditions, including approval from NOVA shareholders.

If all the necessary approvals are obtained, IPIC should close the deal in the second quarter, NOVA said.
