HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Arkema has agreed to pay a $170,000 (€124,000) penalty to resolve US allegations that a company plant violated the nation's clean-air regulations, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said on Tuesday.
The EPA alleged that Arkema's plant in Riverview, Michigan, violated federal leak detection and repair regulations, the regulator said. The EPA discovered the alleged violations during an inspection.
