SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Japan's Taiyo Vinyl will restart its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) unit at Yokkaichi in mid-April after a 24-day scheduled turnaround, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.

The 310,000 tonne/year unit at Mie prefecture, western Japan, was shut on Tuesday and will restart on 16 April, the source added.
