SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--China’s Jilin Petrochemical has raised its domestic n-butanol (NBA) prices by more than 5% due to surging feedstock propylene values and tight domestic supply, market sources said on Friday.
The increase of yuan (CNY) 400/tonne ($59/tonne) takes immediate effect, bringing prices to around CNY7,400-7,600/tonne ex-tank, excluding taxes.
Following the announcement, several regional exporters withdrew their offers anticipating higher prices for imports.
