HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Taylor Chemical has renamed itself as Siovation as part of a plan to transform the company into a highly technical manufacturer and marketer of silicone-based products, the US manufacturer said on Wednesday.

"We are a mature and stable company that has positioned itself for continued growth and longevity by serving unmet market and specific customer demands with silicone-based solutions," said company president Bernie Cobb.

"Our rebranding captures the essence of the changes in strategy and focus while continuing the emphasis on quality, efficiency and service."

Siovation’s core products include silicone defoamers, emulsions and fluids, the company said.

Siovation also relocated its headquarters within Lawrenceville, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta.
