S Korea's S-Oil to keep PX unit shut for two months

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korean aromatics producer S-Oil is expected to restart its paraxylene (PX) unit around June after a scheduled turnaround, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.
The 700,000 tonnes/year PX unit in Onsan has been shut since the beginning of April.
The PX plant turnaround does not impact its aromatics unit, which is currently operating, the source added.For more information on aromatics visit ICIS chemical intelligence
