SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korean aromatics producer S-Oil is expected to restart its paraxylene (PX) unit around June after a scheduled turnaround, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.

The 700,000 tonnes/year PX unit in Onsan has been shut since the beginning of April.

The PX plant turnaround does not impact its aromatics unit, which is currently operating, the source added.
