LONDON (ICIS news)--LANXESS has entered a contract to distribute fluororubbers for Russian rubber producer Halopolymer, the specialty chemicals company said on Friday.
LANXESS said it planned to market the products to regions outside ?xml:namespace>
Halopolymer said it produced about 13,000 tonne/year of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and was looking to expand to gain 10% of the global market.
Fluororubbers are used in aerospace, automotives, oil extraction and process engineering to make seals, hoses, diaphragms and sealing plugs.
