SEOUL (ICIS news)--Ineos Phenol has delayed the completion of its phenol-acetone plant at Zhangjiagang in China's Jiangsu province to the end of 2010 from the end of this year, a source close to the company said on Friday.
The company has yet to secure raw material supply for the plant and talks were still ongoing, the source said on the sidelines of the 9th Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC)
The plant has nameplate capacities of 400,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 250,000 tonnes/year of acetone.
The two-day APIC conference runs from May 14-15.
