US weekly propylene stocks drop by 9% - EIA

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US non-fuel use propylene inventories fell 9% in the week ended 15 May compared with one week earlier, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

US propylene inventories last week were at 2.378m bbl. That compares with 2.283m bbl one year earlier, the government said.

Non-fuel use propylene, as defined by the EIA, is intended for petrochemical manufacturing, including polymer and chemical-grade propylene.
