US Arizona Chemical to close plant, 77 jobs hit - report

TORONTO (ICIS news)--US specialty chemicals producer Arizona Chemical will permanently close in July a plant in Port St. Joe, Florida, affecting 77 jobs, local media reported on Friday.

A media official for the Jacksonville, Florida-based producer of specialty resins and pine-based chemicals did not return a call requesting additional comment.

According to the report, Arizona would transfer customer orders for the Port St. Joe plant to its facilities in Panama City, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia.
