HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Invista on Friday began to restart a boiler at its Victoria, Texas, following maintenance earlier this week, the company said.
Emissions associated with the procedure were expected to last until 24 May, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Invista produces adiponitrile (ADN) and adipic acid in Victoria, according to ICIS plants and projects.
The company has 375,000 tonnes/year of ADN capacity in Victoria. Adipic acid capacity at the site is 380,000 tonnes/year.
