India’s BPCL sells mid-June naphtha cargo from Mumbai

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--India’s Bharat Petroleum Corp (BPCL) has sold a naphtha cargo for mid-June lifting from Mumbai in the west coast of India, industry sources said on Monday.

The tender, which offered the 30,000-tonne cargo of low aromatics naphtha (LAN) for 15-19 June lifting, was awarded to Itochu.

The cargo was sold at a premium of $8.50/tonne (€6.035) to Middle East quotes FOB (free-on-board) Mumbai.

BPCL had previously sold a similar cargo for 20-24 May loading from Mumbai at a premium of $5/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB Mumbai.
