HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Here is Tuesday’s mid-day Americas oil and chemical market summary from ICIS pricing.

CRUDE: July WTI: $69.35/bbl, up $1.26; July Brent: $69.13/bbl, up $1.25
Crude prices erased Monday’s losses and rose in response to a weaker dollar while receiving support from expectations that the weekly US inventory data will show a decline in crude stocks. The rally was kept in check by an early slide in the stock market. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) topped out at $69.82/bbl before retreating.

NATURAL GAS: $3.701/MMBtu, down 3 cents
Natural gas futures prices weakened over mild weather forecast.

RBOB: $1.9510/gal, up 1.5 cents
Reformulated gasoline blendstock for oxygenate blending (RBOB) futures prices strengthened on higher crude futures values.

BENZENE: US benzene surged higher to $2.77-2.80/gal on the back of firm energy prices and styrene exports to Asia. That compared with $2.60-2.68/gal on Monday and $2.46-2.50/gal a week ago.

ETHYLENE: US spot ethylene was notionally assessed at 24-25 cents/lb on Tuesday. June ethylene last traded at 24 cents/lb on Monday, down from 24.50 cents/lb on Friday.

PROPYLENE: US spot refinery-grade propylene (RGP) was notionally assessed at 34-35 cents/lb on Tuesday. June RGP last traded at 34.50 cents/lb on 4 June.
