DyStar acquires Rhodia’s sodium amide business

TORONTO (ICIS news)--DyStar has acquired Rhodia’s sodium amide businesses, the Germany-based textile dyes maker said on Tuesday.

The acquisition comprised primarily Rhodia’s sodium amide formulating technology and the customer base, it said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

DyStar planned to relocate the sodium amide production from Rhodia’s site in Norwich, UK, to Ludwigshafen, Germany by early 2010, it added.
