SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Energy major ExxonMobil is expected to achieve 100% operating rates at its Singapore ethylene plant later on Friday after it successfully completed its maintenance turnaround, a source close to the company said.
The 900,000 tonne/year ethylene plant, which uses mixed feedstock, is located at ?xml:namespace>
ExxonMobil’s downstream units consisting of a 480,000 tonne/year polyethylene (PE) plant and a 275,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) unit were restarted earlier this week.
ExxonMobil’s spokesperson had at the time declined to comment on the operational status of each of its plants.
