SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--China has launched an anti-dumping investigation on methanol imports from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia and New Zealand, the country’s Ministry of Commerce said on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Commerce received complaints from 14 domestic methanol producers, which included Shanghai Coking Company, Shanxi Danfeng Chemical and Pingmei & Lantian Chemical on 4 May that methanol was being dumped.

The investigation was expected to be completed earliest, by 24 June 2010, and latest by 24 December 2010.
