China Resources runs Changzhou PET plant at 90-100% op rate

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--China’s major polyethylene terephthalate (PET) producer China Resources Packaging is currently running its 470,000 tonne/year plant in Changzhou at almost full capacity due to stable demand from the domestic market, a company official said on Tuesday.
“We are running at 90-100% of our nameplate capacity” in spite of the weak export market, the source said in Mandarin.
