HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Flint Hills Resources (FHR) on Thursday began maintenance on a tank at its Port Arthur olefins plant in Texas, the company said in a filing with regulators.
Emissions related to the procedure were expected to last until 13 September, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
FHR declined to comment on the procedure.
The company has 621,000 tonnes/year of ethylene capacity at the site.
