SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--Shanghai Petrochemical shut down its 130,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) plant at Jinshan district, Shanghai, on 1 August for a month-long maintenance period, a company source said on Tuesday.
Shanghai Petrochemical - a subsidiary of Sinopec - is one of the largest integrated petrochemical companies in China.
The firm is also a domestic producer of refined oil products, intermediate petrochemicals, synthetic resins and synthetic fibres.
