Romania’s Chimcomplex reports H1 net loss of New Lei 12.2m

BUCHAREST (ICIS news)--Romanian chemicals maker Chimcomplex posted a net loss of Lei 12.2m ($4.1m/€2.9m) for the first half of 2009, compared to a net profit of Lei 4.6m in the same period of last year, the company said on Tuesday.

Turnover was down 53% year-on-year at Lei 44m.

Chimcomplex is a chloralkali products, solvents, alkylamines and pesticides producer based in Borzesti, eastern Romania.

($1 = Lei 2.99; €1 = Lei 4.21)
