SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Thailand's PTT Chemical plans to shut its 250,000 tonne/year plant at Mab Ta Phut in early October for maintenance, a source from its subsidiary Bangkok Polyethylene said on Tuesday.

“The maintenance should last for around 45 days,” the source said.

Other HDPE producers in Thailand include the Siam Cement Group (SCG).
