GUANGZHOU (ICIS news)--China’s Dushanzi Petrochemical, a subsidiary of PetroChina, will start-up its new 10m tonne/year crude distillation unit (CDU) in August and its 1m tonne/year naphtha cracker by mid September, a company source said on Tuesday.

The start up of the facilities had been delayed by around a year because of the global financial crisis.

The new CDU will raise the capacity of the Xinjiang-based refinery to 16m tonnes/year.
