SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korea’s Yeochun Naphtha Cracking Centre (YNCC) has settled its September butadiene (BD) contract at $1,458/tonne (€1,021/tonne) pipeline DEL (delivered), up $357/tonne from August, a company official said on Tuesday.

The August contract for BD was settled on a pipeline DEL basis at $1,101/tonne.

The BD price surge was due to tight supply and strong demand, traders said.
