HOUSTON (ICIS news)--The US Chemical Safety Board (CSB) plans to present its final report on 15 September on a deadly 2007 explosion at T2 Laboratories in Jacksonville, Florida, the board said on Tuesday.

The 19 December blast killed four people and injured 33. The explosion occurred during a runaway chemical reaction during the production of a gasoline additive, the CSB said.

The explosion destroyed the T2 facility and damaged nearby businesses, the CSB said.

CSB investigators plan to present their findings at a public meeting in Jacksonville. The presentation will include a 3-D computer animation depicting the events that led to the explosion.
