MOVES: German biofuels group VDB picks new general manager

TORONTO (ICIS news)--Elmar Baumann has been appointed as general manager of Germany’s biofuels industry group Verband der Deutsche Biokraftstoffindustrie (VDB), it said on Wednesday.

Baumann succeeds Johannes Lackmann who said in July he was leaving VDB.

Baumann, an engineer, joined VDB in 2007, working on technical and economic issues. He is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Coburg, Bavaria.
