Russia's TogliattiAzot posts 12.7% fall in 7-month ammonia output

MOSCOW (ICIS news)--Russian major chemical producer TogliattiAzot’s January-July ammonia production was down 12.7% year on year at 1.15m tonnes, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.

For the whole of last year, TogliattiAzot’s ammonia output was down 10% year on year at 2.17m tonnes, the statement said.

Based at Togliatti in the Samara region of central Russia, TogliattiAzot is the largest former Soviet ammonia producer.
