Finland's chemical output falls 14.7% in July

LONDON (ICIS news)--Finland’s chemicals output in July dropped 14.7% year on year and fell 22.4% from June, according to data released by Statistics Finland on Thursday.

Capacity utilisation in July was at 74.4%, down from 75.5% in June and 79.7% in July 2008.

Production of wood and paper products, the key end-user market for the domestic chemicals industry, dropped 33.1% year on year in July and was down 0.4% from June.
