UK PET producer Silver Spring placed in administration

LONDON (ICIS news)--UK polyethylene terephthalate (PET) producer The Silver Spring Mineral Water Co Ltd was placed in administration on the evening of 16 September, a company source confirmed on Thursday.

The company, which manufactures soft drinks for brands including Virgin Cola, is based in Kent and employs more than 260 people.

Silver Spring’s production capacity could not be confirmed by the company, and no further details on the administration were available.
