SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--China’s Qilu Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Sinopec, plans to restart its 45,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) plant in late September, a company source said on Friday.
The plant was shut on 15 September for maintenance, the source said.
The firm’s downstream 54,000 tonne/year acrylic fibre (AF) plant was unaffected by the shutdown at the ACN plant, the source added.
Qilu Petrochemical is located at Zibo city in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong.
