LONDON (ICIS news)--India’s Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT) has issued a tender for two, 7,500-tonne ammonia cargoes, market sources said on Monday.

The tender, which closes on 8 October, calls for one cargo to be delivered to Cochin by 20 October and the second to be delivered 10 days later to the same port, sources said.

FACT last purchased ammonia from trader Transammonia at $320/tonne (€221/tonne) CFR (cost and freight).

Sources said they expected offer prices to be higher for the tender due to tight supply in the Middle East and recent spot business in the region, which was done at $300/tonne FOB (free on board).
