GUANGZHOU (ICIS news)--China plans to impose anti-dumping duties (ADDs) on polyamide 6,6 imports from the US, Italy, the UK, France and Taiwan for five years starting 13 October 2009, the Ministry of Commerce announced on Monday.

The decision was made after investigations concluded that the dumping of polyamide 6,6 by the five countries was harming the domestic industry, the ministry said.

China imposed security deposits on imports from the five countries as a temporary anti-dumping measure on 26 June.

Security deposits paid for cargoes entering China between 26 June and 12 October would be taken as ADD, the ministry said.

Companies that had paid more than the ADD ratio would receive a refund, but those that had paid less would not need to pay the balance, the ministry added.
