LONDON (ICIS news)--The deputy chairman of DSM’s managing board of directors, Jan Zuidam, will retire at the beginning of next year, the Netherlands-based specialty chemicals company said on Wednesday.
Zuidam will step down on 1 January 2010 after 36 years of service in a number of positions with DSM, of which he served 12 years as a member of its managing board, DSM said.
DSM’s supervisory and managing boards have decided not fill Zuidam’s position at this time and will instead distribute his tasks among the other members of the managing board, the company added.
