HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US propylene inventories rose by 10% in the week ended 23 October compared with a week earlier, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.
US propylene stockpiles ended last week at 2.361m bbl.
Inventories were down by 22% from 3.038m bbl in the same week of 2008, according to EIA data.
Non-fuel use propylene, as defined by the EIA, is intended for petrochemical manufacturing, including polymer and chemical-grade propylene.
