LONDON (ICIS news)--Huntsman’s ethylene amine operations in Freeport, Texas, were fully back on line following a delayed restart after planned maintenance, a company source said on Friday.

“We overrun a bit, which has made us tight on stocks in the US,” said the seller.

One of the lines went down for three weeks due to planned maintenance. Another line at the site was also taken off line for a few days during this period for other maintenance purposes.

According to the seller, the ethylene amine unit produces 72,500 tonnes/year.
