SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Taiwan’s China Petrochemical Development Corporation (CPDC) will cut the operating rate of its 190,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) plant by 10% in November due to limited feedstock propylene, a company source said on Monday.

“We will run the ACN plant at a reduced rate of 90% as our feedstock supplier in Taiwan is down for turnaround in November and our propylene supply will be limited,” the source added.

CPDC operates two ACN lines, each with a capacity of 95,000 tonnes/year, at Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
