MOSCOW (ICIS news)--Voronezhsintezkauchuk’s (Voronezh Rubber Co) synthetic rubber production fell in the January-September period due to adverse market conditions in the first half of 2009, the Russian company said in a statement released on Thursday.

The company’s synthetic bivinyl rubber output totalled 51,000 tonnes, down 44.2% from January-September 2008, the company said.
Styrene rubber and latex production amounted to 46,000 tonnes, down or 23.1% year on year, while production of other types of synthetic rubber also decreased from the same period last year, according to the statement.
The company exports nearly half of its synthetic rubber output.
